A Blue and Pink Charlotte Wedding // Joe+Jenna
A celebration like this is what makes me so thrilled to be a wedding photographer. Joe and Jenna became immediate friends, and we are beyond grateful to be a part of their love story.
When Jennifer and I met Joe and Jenna at a local Starbucks here in Charlotte, I knew that capturing their wedding would be a joy. And it was! Between meeting them and shooting their wedding, they both visited our church, became members, and became our friends.
This Charlotte wedding was brimming over with joy and excitement! They patiently waited for each other as God was writing His beautiful story for the both of them. Their wedding was held in the lobby of Carmel Baptist Church and decorated with pink hydrandeas and soft teal colors.
A big thank you to the creative team who made this day so beautiful and special:

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jer. 29:11
The colorful fall leaves as well as the blooming roses in the front of The Morehead Inn highlight their portraits and celebrate the changing season. Brandon and Susan made our job so easy as they effortlessly posed and genuinely enjoyed each other!
It was an honor to document your wedding day and we are so thrilled for you both!
The morning of the wedding was foggy and misting. While the ladies got ready in the bridal suite, a dedicated team of friends worked to create the wedding of Marianna’s dreams. Black and white with accents of deep green were scattered throughout the venue. White roses and greenery donned every table, arch, and bouquet.
Marianna and Ryan had a vision for their wedding, and seeing it come to life was thrilling! Their taste is classy, timeless, and romantic.
A few flights later, and I was in Boise, Idaho. A beautiful city surrounded by ranges and mountains that make the whole area quite stunning. Michael and I grew up together in Missouri and I am so happy for him and his new bride, Grace! Thank you for allowing me to capture and to be a part of your joyful day! - Jon
This sweet couple. It really was an honor to shoot this wedding for Chad and Bailey. I could tell from the moment I met them and their families that they have a very special bond. Not often (or ever) have I seen the Maid of Honor be a sibling to the groom, and the Best Man a sibling to the bride!
Mike is a friend and coworker, and it was a pleasure to be a part of his and Ana’s wedding day. The original plan included a different location with an outdoor ceremony. In typical North Carolina fashion, and what seemed like 14 out of 15 weekends of rain, the whole event was switched to indoors.
We took advantage of the brief opportunity to take some outdoor portraits during the light mist. Mike and Ana were easy going and adventurous enough to venture outside and created some fun, memorable, and timeless portraits!
The Gospel was shared, the wedding party wore comfortable (and fun!) Vans shoes, the dance floor was full, they were surrounded by supportive family and friends, and this happy couple was married on this beautiful, sunny day!
It is always an honor to be a part of documenting weddings for couples who love the Lord and desire to honor Him with their relationship and marriage. Jonathan and Bethany were exactly that.
We are excited for you both to experience the goodness of God through marriage as you learn to trust Him and follow Him in new ways!
Pops of red, burgundy, purple, and pink were scattered throughout the florals and beautiful bridesmaid’s dresses, creating a theme that resembled a colorful, spring garden. The gloomy, wet weather forecast shifted that morning to partly cloudy and breezy. What a treat it is to venture outside and explore unsuspecting locations that create beautiful and vibrant portraits! David and Dana’s wedding day was joyous, relaxed, and beautiful at the Hyatt Centric SouthPark.
Joy, tears, fun, and God-honoring love — what a beautiful wedding day in the mountains of North Carolina for Dan and Laura!
How it started: A mutual friend suggested they get to know each other. Aren’t quality friends such a blessing? Dan and Laura are such a perfect match, and to see them together will definitely bring a smile to your face!
With Derek in the Navy, he and Kaleigh decided to get married in May, directly after his graduation. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged their vows and moved to Florida to begin their life together!
Their December wedding and reception was a beautiful vow renewal and celebration! This wedding is yet another one where God miraculously cleared the storms for the majority of the portraits! We were so grateful for small blessings like weather changes, and for the joy of telling their wedding day story through images.
7 years. That’s how long they waited to become husband and wife. Everyone at the wedding was already friends, so the celebration was next level!
Jack and Kayla, it is obvious that you are both dearly loved by your friends and family, and you’ve begun your marriage with an incredible support system.
From the vibrant florals to the tears of joy and the most active dance floor we’ve ever seen at a wedding - we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of capturing your wedding day!
